School in the farm
A Farm which is located nearby Afgoye district, 50 km from Mogadishu, there are 10 villages inhabited by about 880 families, where 285 girls and boys of school age live, but lack of access to study.Since 2007, the local partner has available cultivable land of 62 hectares in Afgooye district along the Shabelle River, which is about 50 kilometers from Mogadishu, an area filled with clay soils and fertile, in rural vocation.
Inside the farmland there is a small village inhabited by the families of employees of the company.. Within a radius of six kilometers from the farm, there are also ten villages (Xarare, Buulo Cabdiyow, Banaaney, Maalimey, Gaalgube, Baldozer, Alifow, Baqdaad,buulo wiif and Buulo folio), larger than the small farming village interior, inhabited by around 880 families, where 285 children live (boys , girls) of school age but lack the ability to access the study..
Our commitment is to ensure children a proper schooling.
Since autumn 2008 have been set up a new school on the space of Madina Warsame farmland, where teachers can go about their business by allowing approximately 100 boys and girls to attend the courses in basic literacy, imparting lessons in mathematics, Somali, Arabic and religion.
